Parish Lunch

Parishioners and visitors are warmly invited to our Parish luncheon on the first Thursday of the month, 12pm at The Builders Club Wollongong (Church St). You can grab yourself a meal, drink and have a great chat!

No RSVP required. Just turn up! 

Children’s Liturgy – Mater Dolorosa Church, Balgownie

Children’s Liturgy will soon be offered at Mater Dolorosa Church, Balgownie, during the 10:00am Sunday Mass.

Thank you to the community of Balgownie for coordinating this wonderful ministry, which helps children engage with the Gospel in an age-appropriate way.

Couples Preparing for Marriage | 30 August 2026

Are you preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage?
Fr Bernard Gordon and the Lumen Christi Parish community warmly invite you to a special Mass for Couples Preparing for Marriage at St Francis Xavier Cathedral Wollongong on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at 10.30am. Whether you are being married at Lumen Christi Parish or elsewhere, you are most welcome to attend. During the Mass, we will pray for all engaged couples as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Marriage.
