News in Brief July 2017

Sacrament of Eucharist
The children who made their First Reconciliation early in the year are due to commence the program for preparation to receive their First Holy Communion. This year, there will not be specially appointed Masses for First Holy Communion on a single weekend. Rather, to incorporate the faith life of our young families and the children into the weekly faith life of the parish, we will have children make their First Holy Communion during the regular Vigil/Sunday Masses in September and October, Enrolment for the Eucharist Program will be on 17th August at 7pm in the Saint Brigid’s Hall. All parents of these children are to be in attendance. The preparation program is vital to the celebration of the Sacrament.
